Team Rosters
We are looking forward to getting our scorekeepers back on the field as soon as it is determined safe to do so. In the meantime, we still consider maintaining and enforcing playoff rosters to be one of our highest priorities in Empire Softball.
At this time, while we are currently without scorekeepers, we are unable to truly enforce a minimum amount of games played for a player to be eligible to participate in playoffs. However, we will be enforcing the following in order to do our best to maintain a fair and competitive playoff series for all teams:
With all that said, it has proven to be a very difficult task to read the handwriting and exact spelling of names on the rosters that each team has submitted so far. As a team manager, please take the responsibility of making sure that every player you anticipate participating in a playoff game is listed on your official team roster below.
If you have adjustments to make, as far as misspelled or incomplete player names, please use the "Stats Corrections Form" which can be found by CLICKING HERE.
As a team manager, your continued understanding and compliance with all of this is well appreciated. We hope that you are all as grateful and happy, as we are, to be playing at all. But as we move forward, we want to make sure that our playoff rosters are held to as high of a standard as which you are used to from playing in Empire. Once again, we are asking for your help - in order to ensure a fair playoffs, with no issues at the field come game time.

At this time, while we are currently without scorekeepers, we are unable to truly enforce a minimum amount of games played for a player to be eligible to participate in playoffs. However, we will be enforcing the following in order to do our best to maintain a fair and competitive playoff series for all teams:
- We ask that all players participating in a playoff game have played a minimum of 5 games during the regular season.
- In order to be eligible for playoffs, any player must have participated at least once by the 4th week of the season (games 7/8 for each team)
- Fill-Ins or Alternate players are allowed to participate in any game until the end of the regular season, as long as they have signed the "Return to Play" Waiver. However, only players that have signed the waiver - which has been submitted to the league - on or before the teams 4th week of games will be eligible to participate in the playoffs.
- If a player is questioned or protested in playoffs, not only will we check the team roster, but the signature will be matched to the ID of the player in question - so it is imperative that every player has legitimately signed the team roster.

- Do Not text Ryan with any incomplete information as it will likely be too much to handle appropriately. Adjustments will only be made for teams that submit the information online using the form linked above.
- Do Not use the online form to add missing players - only for misspellings, missing last names, etc.
- Do Not ask any of us to add additional players to your team roster after it is frozen. It will not happen without an extraordinary circumstance.
- You Must still make sure all players - even fill-ins after roster freeze - sign a roster before playing. Please make sure you add any missing players to a blank form as requested by Ryan, Brian, or Jib Jib, when they ask you to do so in person at your games.
